Creative Fee
Your Creative Fee is required at the time of booking to hold your spot. This can either be paid by Email Money Transfer, Paypal payment sent to: info@byjenniferhall.com, credit or cash paid in person at Life is Art Studios. Once I receive payment your name will go on my calendar & we will begin planing the perfect custom photography experience together. Please note Creative Fees do not include digital files. These can be purchased at your Reveal & Order Appointment.

Digital Files & Print Products
We live in a digital world & I love to provide you with the digital images from your session. I also know that most of the time the precious images I work so hard to create may never leave your computer or make it to your actual walls (Facebook Walls don’t count!). I want to make sure the quality of your print products reflect the quality of my work and that work is proudly displayed, which is why I’m so passionate about the heirloom quality boutique products I offer… So when that USB drive becomes obsolete you will still have beautiful quality prints to cherish for the generations to come!

Newborn Sessions
It is never too early to book a newborn session. Because your baby’s birth date is unpredictable, I will reserve a time frame for you. If you are given an induction or c-section date, the actual session date can be booked in advance. If you’re unsure when baby will be arriving I will mark your due date once your creative fee is paid and expect a call from you as soon as baby makes his/her appearance. The most successful newborn sessions are taken in the first 15 days of life. The babies are generally smaller, sleepier and easily posed into position. I’m fully capable of retouching any bruising, baby acne, and cradle cap. I prefer to photograph newborns “au naturel”. I have plenty of props, but feel free to bring along anything you like. You can expect your session to last around 2-3 hours. This allows for several feedings, diaper changes and snuggles between images. More information will be sent to you once your newborn session is booked.

Maternity Sessions
The best time for maternity portraits is around 7-8 months. Your session can be held in the comfort of the studio or if you would rather, we can go outdoors. Snug, or more boudoir style clothing can create a beautiful silhouette of your belly. At Life as Art Studios we provide a variety of luxurious fabrics to wrap around you & maternity gowns to accentuate those curves.

Mini Portrait Sessions
Milestone portrait sessions are for babies between the ages 3 months – 1 year & are great for capturing those milestones as they grow & change so fast. Around the 6 month mark babies are able to sit up & show us more of their personality on camera, I find this to be an ideal age for a milestone session. You’ll want to book this session a few months in advance to make sure you don’t miss these fleeting moments! The first year will fly by!

Cake Smash Sessions
Cake Smash Sessions take place in studio or at the location of your choice within Barrie, ON. A phone or email consultation to plan the theme, colour scheme & outfits is included in your creative fee. This session includes 1/2 hour of before the mess portraits & 1/2 hour of cake smashing messy fun & a bubble bath! You bring the cake or cupcake and let your child dig in while I photograph all the fun. I have a few cake places I recommend & their prices start at $10. Parents don’t forget to bring a change of clothes, this session can get messy!

Family Sessions
Family portraits may be taken in my home studio, or outdoors at the location of your choice. I have many locations I enjoy shooting at & can recommend a place that suits your family. Outdoor sessions are always held just before sunset or sunrise, which varies depending upon the time of the year. These sessions are beautifully bright and green during the Spring & Summer months and rich, golden yellows, browns, and natural tones during the late Fall & Winter months.

Cancellation Policy/Weather Cancellation
As a courtesy to myself and other clients, please contact me at your earliest convenience if your child becomes sick and you are unable to keep your appointment. I will gladly reschedule your session for a later date. If your session is booked outdoors and the weather is not cooperating we will try and plan for the following day, same time. If this doesn’t coincide with schedules we will reschedule for a later date.

Reveal & Order Session
During your portraits we will arrange a Reveal & Order Appointment, which will take place 1-2 weeks later. At this appointment you will have the opportunity to view a slideshow of your photographs. You’ll be able to see all of the beautiful print products I offer & together we’ll create the perfect heirlooms to be passed down through the generations.
Full price list of all offered products will be emailed to you upon request for booking.
